An Active Holiday Season at Maristhill

Jingle Bells…

The holidays are a wonderful time for friends and family to gather, and our engaged community here at Maristhill will enjoy another robust series of activities and entertainment this year.

In addition to working together on holiday crafts and conducting a heartfelt reminiscing social, our residents convened in our sun room for a moving holiday concert presented by three different groups of musicians from Brandeis University this past Friday. As you may know, Brandeis Department of Music hosts an exceptional series of professional concerts each year featuring faculty and visiting artists.

Later this month we’ll also be treated to the St. Jude’s School Christmas show, and Santa will be making his annual visit as well!

But before then, our residents, friends and families will enjoy two Christmas parties! The first took place on our Ames floor this past weekend, featuring Tony Funches, the renowned former lead singer of The Platters. As always, Tony was highly-engaging as he invited various residents to sing-along with him as he shared holiday classics.

The Melody Makers will entertain at our Banks floor party, which will take place on the fifteenth. And, of course, our residents and their families will celebrate over a delicious dinner on Christmas Day.
