We understand the challenges of caring for a loved one at home, and offer respite care so at-home caregivers can have an opportunity to deal with their own medical issues or simply take a much needed break. It is important to care for one's self as well as others. We can offer private suites to enhance patient comfort and privacy Whether you are in need of post-surgical care, rehabilitative services, wound management, or short-term respite, we look forward to welcoming you to Maristhill.
We are dedicated to compassionately and respectfully helping those requiring our care. Whether you are seeking a long-term care community that will respect and promote your quality of life, or nursing care following a hospital stay, our professional team will enthusiastically collaborate with you, your physician and family to develop an individualized healthcare program that best suits your personal situation. You can select from a wide range of tailored, comprehensive healthcare services .
Maristhill has a long tradition of caring for those who need specialized care at a difficult time in their lives. Through our partnership with Hospice of the Good Shepherd, the first non-profit hospice organization in Massachusetts, we provide an environment of support, comfort, and peace to patients and their families. We also welcome other hospice organizations who may be caring for folks at home who need to transition to full-time care. Hospice care is sometimes a short-stay respite to give family caregivers a chance to rest and care for themselves, and sometimes a transition based on care needs which have become too great to be supported in the home setting. In either case, Maristhill strives to provide a warm environment, in which families and friends continue to feel involved and welcomed.
Pastoral & Spiritual Care
Our Spiritual Care Director focuses on the integration throughout the facility of Maristhill’s mission "to continue the healing ministry of Christ." This includes facilitating daily Mass and other services, visiting patients and residents and offering spiritual support to them, their families and the Maristhill staff.
